This coming weekend I will be in Rockford, IL with my wife and son’s, Martin and Titus and the Dogs,  I think the show should be great.  LOL  

Why does a Resort do shows?  It used to be that was the way we found our clientele and booked people. It’s now becoming secondary to the internet and blogs like this, newsletters and social media.  Yet, I like to be out there and get to hopefully meet new guest and possibly reminisce with previous guest from the area.   This year you can find us at these well-known shows in Schaumberg IL, Rockford IL, St. Cloud MN, Fargo ND, and Sioux Falls SD.  

What’s the point I need to fill 72 spots normally it’s only around 50 but now that I am married and have a wife I added 2 extra weeks at the end of September and October and it seems like a lot but I think I can do it.  Hopefully by the end of March I’ll be down to less then 21 cabins my goal over the last 4 years of doing bookings has been pretty consistent every year it’s do a little better.  Maybe like Paul and Lauri in 10 years I will actually have a waiting list fingers crossed.
